Year 3 Thriftwood Scout Activity Residential

Updated 12th July @ 3pm. The children will be making their way back from Thriftwood Activity Centre after lunchtime. We are expecting the children to return to school at approx 3pm. The children will be dismissed at the normal time of 3.30pm.

Option 1:

Class Day Tip On Wednesday 12th July, all children in the year group will go to Thriftwood Scouts camp as their end of year celebration trip. This will be just for the day and during this day the children will get to take part in 4 outdoor adventure activities. These activities include Pedal Cars, Bush craft, Water Rollers and Cresta run.

Option 2:

Addition of the Overnight Residential Stay Those children who have signed up for the additional overnight residential stay will remain at Thriftwood on Wednesday 12th July, with some of the school adults. They will take part in two additional activities that evening, the Zipline and a campfire. The children will have dinner around 5:30pm, after which they will go to the campfire for a sing along. They will have some time to relax with hot coco before bed. The children and school adults who remain will be staying in the secure tented village. The children will get to share tents with their friends from the year group. The next morning the children who have remained for the overnight experience will also get to take part in three more adventure activities, the Outdoor Obstacle Course, the Demolition Derby and the Bouldering Wall. The children will break for lunch at 12:00 and will leave Thriftwood shortly after lunch. The children who remain overnight aim to be back to school in time for 3:30pm dismissal on Thursday 13th July. Cost: £20 per child
